I did not need the MacHeist 3 Bundle

So… I bought MacHeist 3 Bundle when I was sick! Must have been delirious or something!

Firstly, the truth is I didn’t need the MacHeist Bundle. I didn’t use iSale, Picturesque, SousChef, World of Goo, PhoneView, LittleSnapper, Acorn, Kinemac, WireTap Studio, Big Bang Board Games… and I would only have used Espresso if it had gotten unlocked – which means if 400K has been raised for Charity. Now it is only midway, so I probably won’t get it anyway.

But 39USD for a bunch of neat software is really really cheap! Although the only thing I’ll probably be using is Acorn and World of Goo. If you want to buy it as well, you can get the referral code here and I’ll get some more games if you use it.

Although the developers would get only a fraction of what could have been, I think that it is NICE to have such exposure for your products. Its the same theory back then when music artistes didn’t mind Napster/Kazaa and whatsoever P2P illegal software thing distribute their stuff because their company ate up a huge chuck of the profits anyway. And when you get the exposure, maybe people would come back to buy your software, in replacement of another one of what-could-have-been. We all know there are ten other replacements for your software… somewhere.

Plus people like me, who otherwise on a sane day would NOT have bought any software at all…

So I was sick and I’ve gotten well over the weekend. I spent too much time on twitter though, even took a video in that horrible state about it.
