
Last Tuesday, we went to Dennis’ house and I fell in love with Guitar Hero and Pasta with Shrimp! Its a great recipe which Mark translated for me!

The new entree was bread with dried tomatoes and something resembling Italian ham and it was lightly baked. It was super yummy and I was introduced to this place called “Oil and Vinegar” in Eindhoven which sells really quality Italian spices.

The dog was all about the food as well, of course we didn’t let him have any.

Prawns are first marinated in fish spices. They look horrible. But they eventually taste heavenly!

Pasta with Shrimp with Mark as the cook! It tastes super good and it takes only 20 minutes to prepare.
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
- Pasta for 2 persons (‘wokkel’ pasta)
- Shrimps for 2 persons (1 zakje van bij de Aldi)
- Boursin or cheap herb cheese
- 1 or 2 small maggi bouillon-cube(s)
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 a 2 stalks of spring onion
- Olive oil
- Fish herbs (or pepper and salt)
- Salt
- Fresh saladPreparation:
- Cook the pasta in water with olive oil and salt
- Defrost the shrimps in the meanwhile, chop the garlic and spring onion in small pieces
- Poor the water of the pasta away and rinse with cool water
- Leave the pasta in the colander and add some olive oil so that it doesn’t get sticky
- Poor a bit of olive oil in a frying pan or wok pan (one in which the pasta also fits)
- Bake the chopped garlic and spring oil a short while
- Put the fish herbs on the shrimps (or use the pepper and salt)
- Bake the shrimps with the garlic and spring oil until they are done
- Add the cooked pasta and turn the heat lower
- Keep stirring so that the pasta doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan
- Molder the magi cubes and add them to the pasta to flavor it (taste how much is enough so that it doesn’t get too salty)
- Add in small portions the boursin or herb cheese (in total 2 or 3 spoons)
- Keep stirring to let the herb cheese melt and distribute it evenly with the pasta and shrimps
- Prepare the salad
- Keep stirring until everything is warmed up and all the cheese has melted and is distributed nicely
