My dad is in Europe! So we decided to trippen over to Dresden where the ICC 2009 is being held. Europe brings alot of memories back, since the childhood days I seem to only remember was me setting on pigeons and being in Europe for some reason. So he told me stories of me and Jon sitting in the baby pram and all those stuff. Its a nice thing to be a little kid.

We stayed near the “Church of our Ladies” at this place which you cannot find because the entrance is just so small. The hotel staff had to point me to a tiny little entrance which was literally the apartments. However, the apartments were super! Kind of reminded me of the one which I stayed in in UK – won’t it be great if my real apartment was that way?

There was a real gem in Japanese food there though. I’m such a great fan of Japanese food – its probably one of the things I miss most about Singapore – its available of Japanese everywhere! So in the Hilton Hotel, there is Restaurant Ogura. Absolutely fantastic Japanese food with an authentic Japanese chef. Food isn’t expensive if you take the sets, we had sashimi and a great deal of sushi for only 10EUR. 10EUR! Its a Summer promotion so you aboslutely can’t get cheaper then that!
Nonetheless, we took a Steamer boat tour all the way to the Castle grounds. It was a relaxing day I suppose. After all the deadlines, new projects and additional stuff I get at work this is a vacation I’m really looking forward to! Berlin is up next, I say, with that shopping its only going to get better!
