Who are you? Why do you call yourself Summerrainx?

Joanna. I like to write. I like geeky stuff. Summerrainx is my Warcraft nickname years ago.

Where are you from anyway?

I’m 100% Singaporean, and I speak English, Chinese and bad Dutch. I also met Aaron Hillegass once and he thought that spoke perfect English for a Japanese. I thought that was a compliment!

I don’t understand your blog? Why is it so random?

No it isn’t. I go by the Summer’s 5:2 rule.

On weekdays I blog about tech news and my thoughts.
On weekends I blog about myself, traveling and perhaps makeup.

The only reason I do this is because I am in love with tech and geeky stuff, which is mostly guy-orientated, but yet again I also like very girly stuff like makeup, skincare, shopping, bling and short summer dresses which is very girl-orientated. So before I alienate everybody, I think its better to just follow Summer’s 5:2 rule.

What makeup / skincare do you use?

Definitely Paul and Joe! Every girl needs to discover this brand. And La Mer.

Why do you write?

I wanted to update my family and friends in Singapore on how I was doing overseas. And surprisingly after I started writing I actually had readers and comments from people I didn’t know. So I decided to write more. Plus I think there are too many bimbo Singaporean girl blogs.
