I’ve blogged a bit about Kindle, but right now, Amazon has released Kindle for International Wireless. I really want an eBook reader – I admit, I have a huge manifestation of books which I need to put… somewhere.
The issue now? Price. Color. New releases.
Still, we’re on the right track.

Well, more technical posts to come soon, as my vacation is, coming to a close. Spent alot of time revisiting old things, out of nostalgia and thankfulness – for the people who made me who I am. On another note, I did read a whole ton of business/marketing books, and spent six hours doing my hair! There’s also a very sci-fi geeky movie which I’m going to catch – its called the Surrogates, like a reality visualization of Second Life, I’m so looking forward to watch that!
See you all in the Netherlands!

There’s this crazy store called Yodobashi Camera in Osaka in which drew out all the energy out of me in a couple of hours. Its somewhat like the Japanese consumer electronics galore with every single section of the place screaming at you to say: Buy me! Anyway, I did take a whole bunch of pictures starting with the calorie monitor, somewhat like DirectLife. I’m trying my best to do my own version of Japanese-Chinese translation on whatever I was actually seeing…

Wireless fire alarms connecting the house together – I think.

Very cute earphones. That said, it seems that shopping in Japan is solely catered for women. 11 levels of shopping centers with one floor for men. And everywhere is full of thigh-high socks, thigh-high boots, sparkling stuff, dresses, clothes, makeup, and pink electronics.

Handphone chargers so cute it must be illegal!

Solar panel handphone chargers! I wonder how long would it take to charge one since it is really tiny. Sanyo had its own large sized ones though, but Japan has every single thing forseeable!!!

I officially became a godma on the 18.08.2009 when my best friend CJ gave birth to twin boys!!! There various discussions prior to the birth of the boys because:
(1) She wanted to dress them up in dresses
(2) If it was a girl she would have been called Summer.
Still, I went to visit my godsons today and they were soooooo cute! I liked them when they were yawning particularly but I have no idea how to carry month old babies so I’m going to carry them the next time I’m back in Singapore!

I’m back in Singapore! There seems to be alot of things happening all around Singapore though, like the F1 races whereby I’m going to stick to the MRTs, F1 parties and visiting my twin godsons!

Surprisingly, Kobe wasn’t what I expected. It was much smaller with no tourist information. Me and my dad missed the train stop the day before and we ended up in Hemeji – which was far better! Nonetheless, we had a nice coffee whilst waiting for the world to go by.
On a better note, the typhoon warnings for Japan have gone off… so I’m going to be in one piece, so don’t worry I’m going to return to the Netherlands in one piece! At least I hope so!

If you are ever in the Kansai area, you definitely have to visit Nara! Nara (奈良市, Nara-shi?) is the capital city of Nara Prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan. The city occupies the northern part of Nara Prefecture, directly bordering Kyoto Prefecture. And Nara was a fantastic suggestion of Benard where I had a great time there!
Firstly, Nara is approximately 60 minutes from Osaka via the JR. As Nara isn’t on the circle, I half wondered if I was getting lost whilst in the midst of attempting to translate English – Chinese – Japanese words on the board whilst getting by with very little Japanese except どうもありがとう. Nara is quite quaint with nice little stores and cute eateries, but what went well was definitely the deers, or naras (as I call it). I started buying nara biscuits and then I realized that you can have every single nara chasing you. They also started eating my map, so probably if you are a student there you can say that the nara ate your homework.
I also ate more soba (great store btw) and Okonomiyaki! Since nobody understands me here I kept hoping that I got something at least right, so far I haven’t gotten anything weird to eat so it works.

And well, of course I stepped into a Japanese drugstore and its one of those OMFGZ moments in life when you want to buy up the entire store. I also bought alot of Jill Stuart cosmetics.

Till Kobe!

Yesterday, I touched down in Kansai airport in Japan after flying for another six hours from Singapore. So I spent the first couple of hours of my twenty-something birthday on-board a plane – lets hope that doesn’t happen too often, but it sure beats flying on September 11 back to Singapore.
But I’m here in Osaka with my dad and thus far the food and shopping is awesomeness. Japan is one of the few places where I’ve always wanted and left remaining to go. And Japan is just full of cute and kawaii electronic goods and packaging, and girls which wear way too much makeup!

Anyway, before I leave I just wanted to show a hairdresser for dogs – 4,000 Yen per fur-cut! I think!
